We tore down Ridge’s live ads.
We pulled every ad the wallet brand Ridge is running right now, thirty of them, and sorted by how long each has stayed live. The oldest ones are not accidents. They are the ads paying the bills.
Ridge's oldest active ad is a bold neon collection that has run since January. When a brand keeps one creative alive that long, it is not sentiment. It is a proven money maker they refuse to switch off.
"Impossible to miss."
The core wallet video
cloned across 12+ adsThe same message runs everywhere: a bulky wallet is the problem, a slim RFID wallet is the fix. When a brand repeats one script this many times, that is the one carrying the account.
"Stop carrying bulk, start carrying better."
A feature packed product video
live since AprilOne video that lists every capability of their power bank, tied to a creator collab. Product education plus a familiar face, running for months.
"One thing to pack, five ways to power."
Risk reversal on everything
in nearly every adA 99 day trial, a lifetime guarantee, free replacements, repeated across the whole account. They sell certainty, not discounts.
"Guaranteed for life."
Limited edition drops
a new one every few weeksNational parks, a stars and stripes edition, camo. Fresh drops keep a boring product feeling new and add urgency without ever cutting the price.
"Limited. American. Built for life."
The gaps they leave open
- Almost no real customer video. Every ad is polished brand voice, never a person holding the product. A rival leading with honest customer footage walks into open field.
- No price offers at all. They lean entirely on guarantees, so anyone chasing the price sensitive buyer has room to move.
- One message run into the ground. The bulky wallet angle is everywhere. A fresh angle on the same product would cut straight through the fatigue.
The read. Copy their engine, video first, a sharp problem then solution, guarantees instead of discounts, and a steady drip of limited drops. Then take the two things they barely run: real customer footage and a fresh angle on the hero product. That is the whole game, and you can see it in an afternoon.
Read ads like a strategist.
Four rules do most of the work. Use them on any brand, with or without our guide.
Sort by how long it has run
The oldest active ads are the proven ones. Brands kill losers fast, so anything still live after months is working.
Read the repeats
The message a brand clones across many ads is the one that sells. Frequency is a confession.
Follow the offer
Note the guarantee, the trial, the bundle. Often the offer is doing the selling, not the creative.
Find what they never run
The format or angle none of their ads use is the opening. That is the attention they are ignoring and you can take.
You just ask.
Set it up once. After that you name a competitor in plain English, and Claude pulls their live ads, reads every one, and hands you the teardown as a sheet you can download. No dashboards to wrangle, no code to write.
The quick questions.
What is a competitor ad teardown?
It is pulling every ad a brand is running on Facebook and Instagram, then turning it into a short brief: which ads have run the longest, why they work, and the angles the brand is leaving open.
Do I need to code?
No. You ask in plain English and Claude pulls the ads and writes the teardown for you.
Where does the data come from?
The Meta Ad Library, which is public. Every advertiser's live ads sit there by law, and this simply reads them for you.
What does a run cost?
A few cents in scraping, plus your Claude plan. The guide shows you how to keep it lean.
Can I run it on any brand?
Any brand that runs Meta ads. Paste their Facebook page and you get their whole live library.
